Workshop: Music from Around the World
11.30am - 12.30pm, St Pancras Room, Kings Place

Come and learn and perform a cappella music as a family! Kids and adults are invited to join Rachel Staunton, Artistic Director of the London Youth Choir, in an immersive workshop where you’ll explore a cappella music from around the world. Experiment with new languages, find out how to get the best out of your voice, learn some songs and then perform them in the foyer at the end of the session!

The London Youth Choir is our 2019 Youth Partner – don't miss the chance to see them perform as the opening act for The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices on Thursday 24 January (for more information click here).


Vocal Rush in concert

Having recently featured on NBC’s hit a cappella show ‘The Sing Off’, Vocal Rush is a five-time national champion high school a cappella group from Oakland School for the Arts in California, founded in 2011 by Director Lisa Forkish.

Join this aca-fantastic group for a very special family matinee performance for LACF Kids – expect a high-energy show with uplifting vocals as they sing a programme which celebrates the power of teamwork – guaranteed to knock your socks off!


Workshop: Rise Up - Singing for Confidence!
3pm - 4pm, St Pancras Room, Kings Place

Join Lisa Forkish, renowned a cappella youth educator and Director of Vocal Rush for an uplifting and interactive workshop in celebration of our singing voices! Lisa will teach you how to use your voice to empower yourself and others through song. In this fun-filled session you’ll learn a new arrangement and participate in team-building activities. Suitable for ages 8-11.
