Announcing Gareth Malone OBE as our Festival Patron

The London A Cappella Festival is thrilled to announce British choirmaster and broadcaster Gareth Malone OBE as its Festival Patron.

Known widely as the face of the British choral scene, Gareth has helped popularise vocal music across the UK and beyond through his hugely successful TV series, concert tours and recordings. He is renowned for his appearances on BBC Two’s The Choir, The Choir: Military Wives, and The Naked Choir and BBC One’s Pitch Battle. He has been a supporter and regular attendee of the London A Cappella Festival for several years and has worked with many past and present festival performers, including festival co-hosts The Swingles, with whom he recently did a hugely successful nationwide tour.

“I'm thrilled and honoured to be a Patron of the London A Cappella Festival.  I have been attending this event over the last few years and am hugely inspired by the quality and ambition of work on display.  It's great to be working again with The Swingles who lead the way and are able to bring so many extraordinary voices together for this excellent festival.  I can't wait!” Gareth Malone
